Women's Made To Measure

Over the past two years, our team has spent time developing our new women's house blocks, drawing inspiration from our successful men's house cut while tailoring them to the unique curves and shapes of women

Our house cut follows the same principles as our menswear - a silhouette that is natural, elegant and, most of all, comfortable. We keep things simple with a natural shoulder, slim sleeve, slim waist and slight flare of the skirt.

This style is available in three different jacketing blocks for you to choose from.

With each of these blocks, you become the designer. Selecting your preferences for buttons, lapel width, shoulders, pockets, and more. In addition to jackets, you have complete freedom to customise trouser styles, allowing you to express your unique style personality.

The Process

The Made to Measure tailoring process begins with a consultation with our womenswear specialist, who will guide you in selecting one of our women's blocks before helping you to choose from our range of over 8,000 cloths. We will then measure and fit you to your preferred style, noting the adjustments to be made from the block pattern and analysing your posture.

A toile fitting is conducted approximately 4 weeks after the initial consultation. A toile is your suit but cut in a test cloth. Here we will assess the fit, shape and any design details that you may want to review. The benefit to this toile fitting is the fact that your final cloth hasn't yet been cut, so should you have any concerns about design details or fit, we have plenty of room at this stage to review it.

You will then attend a final fitting where we assess the overall fit and finish. At this point, we can make any small tweaks such as trouser length or sleeve length to perfect the final fit.

We also offer made to measure women's shirts which follows a similar process. You will begin by choosing from two fits of shirt; classic or slim, five collar shapes and four cuff styles before selecting from a range of over 1800 fine shirting fabrics.
