SUMMER TAILORING

The Team Edit

Summer is officially here and as the temperatures rise across Mayfair, our team steps out in their favourite warm-weather pieces. From soft linens to crisp high-twist wools, each look balancing practicality, style and comfort for life at No.16 Savile Row.

This season, our team has selected garments that reflect their individual style while demonstrating the versatility of summer tailoring. Discover what each member of the team is wearing this summer.

Sabina

Coatmaker

Sabina, our coatmaker, has chosen a beautifully understated double-breasted jacket cut from Loro Piana's renowned Summertime cloth in a rich chocolate brown.

A perennial favourite among the team, the wool, silk and linen blend offers the perfect balance of softness, structure and breathability for warmer days. Styled with relaxed white jeans and a matching waistcoat, it serves practicality and formality whilst working at the her board.

The deep brown tone provides a sophisticated alternative to traditional summer pastels and its double-breasted cut delivers an effortless balance of relaxed style and everyday wearability.

Jessica

Undercutter

Jessica's summer suit takes a lighter and brighter approach to seasonal dressing.

Cut from a striking pastel blue linen by Spence Bryson, her three-piece ensemble features wide-leg pleated trousers, a single-breasted jacket with peak lapels and a matching cloth-back waistcoat. The soft baby blue hue perfectly captures the spirit of the season, whilst the relaxed yet clean silhouette creates a look that feels fresh, elegant and effortless on a warm summer day in Mayfair.

Hayden

Sales Associate

For Hayden, summer tailoring means practicality without a compromise on the formalities of his day-to-day role.

His choice is our classic house style cut from an Air Force Blue Fresco, and its hard to argue with it. Woven in a high-twist wool, Fresco remains one of the most dependable cloths for warm-weather dressing. Prized for its exceptional breathability, resilience and ability to maintain a sharp appearance throughout the day, it remains a staple in summer suiting.

From morning consultations to afternoons spent in the workshop, Hayden's suit moves effortlessly through the demands of the day. Looking just as polished at 5pm as it did at 9am.

Hannah

Manager & Head of Womenswear

Leading our womenswear offering, Hannah wears a striking three-piece suit crafted from a rich chocolate brown wool, silk and linen blend by Delfino.

Comprising a double-breasted jacket, wide-leg trousers and matching waistcoat, the suit offers an elegant and assured interpretation of summer tailoring. The cloth's subtle slubbed texture adds visual interest, while the depth of the chocolate brown demonstrates how darker shades can remain versatile throughout the warmer months.

Gina

Head of Client Relations

We expect nothing less than for Gina to take on a chic and elegant approach to her summer office look. Styled in a sateen cotton pleated shirt and black wide-leg trousers, Gina brings her signature fashion-forward sensibility to her summer wardrobe.

Cut in a soft black twill, her wide-leg trousers offer year-round versatility, whether paired with a shirt as shown here, worn as a casual everyday staple, or dressed up for an evening dinner, they are a go-to intoday'swomen's tailoring.

Oliver

Creative Director

Oliver, our Creative Director, wears our Ready to Wear Gun Club Linen Jacket.

Cut from a French-Italian linen by Maison Hellard, this cloth drapes unlike any other. Soft and richly textured, its distinctive gun club check creates a subtle pattern that lends itself perfectly to a refined preppy summer look. Styled with white linen trousers, a light-wash denim shirt and a navy silk tie, it demonstrates the versatility and character that linen tailoring can bring to warm-weather dressing.
