There are overcoats that keep the weather out, and there are overcoats that make an entrance. Our Navy Double Breasted Overcoat is very much the latter, a coat built with real presence.

Cut in a double breasted 2x2 silhouette with large peak lapels and a slightly lowered button positioning, this is a deliberately structured shape, elevated through the shoulder to give it real authority. It falls to a three quarter length, finished with an out-breast pocket, straight pockets and dark chestnut buttons throughout. The cloth is a tough 22oz navy wool, spongy and rich to the touch, with enough weight to feel like proper armour against the coldest months of the year.

Some coats are built to disappear into the background. This is not one of them. The scale of the lapel, the structure through the shoulder and the sheer weight of the cloth all work together to create something with genuine presence, a coat that announces itself the moment you put it on.

It is a piece for a client who wants to make a statement without saying a word, navy rather than black, but every bit as commanding.
