Our Brown Puppytooth Jacket takes a classic pattern and gives it a softer, more luxurious hand, without straying from a warm, distinctly British colour palette.

Cut with a notch lapel, slanted pockets, and fully lined throughout, the jacket is woven from a 13oz blend of 55% cashmere and 45% wool. The cashmere content brings a noticeable softness to the hand, while the wool keeps the cloth structured enough for tailoring. The result is a tonal brown puppytooth with real depth, contemporary in its colouring yet grounded in the earthy tones that run throughout the collection.

Blueprint Notes

Puppytooth is one of tailoring's oldest patterns, and here we have taken a contemporary approach to it, keeping the palette warm and autumnal. It is a jacket designed to move easily between registers: worn smart with tailored flannel trousers, or dressed down with denim for a more relaxed look.

Alongside the tweeds and Shetland checks elsewhere in the collection, this piece offers something a touch more refined, proof that the season's British landscape story can be told in cashmere just as well as it can in coarse wool.
