The safari jacket sits closer than most pieces to the house's own history, so the brief was less about invention and more about getting the details right. Sand linen was chosen for the way it wears in heat and moves with the body, buttery soft rather than stiff.

The patch pockets with inverted pleats and the adjustable drawstring waist earned their place through use, not decoration, built for a jacket that needed to work as hard in a city as it does further from one.
