New to Norton & Sons Ready to Wear, we have created select knitwear styles that reflect our brand ethos, knitwear made to be practical, but designed to be lived in.

Cut with softer raglan sleeves and a chunky roll neck, the jumper is knitted in a heavyweight Aran Donegal in a 70% wool and 30% cashmere composition. The Donegal yarn carries its characteristic slubbed texture throughout with brighter flecks of blue, navy and white running through the blue middle ground, giving the colour real movement rather than sitting flat.

Blueprint Notes

Woad takes its name from the plant once used to dye cloth blue long before synthetic dyes existed, and this jumper carries something of that same deep, natural blue. It is a piece built for a cold British winter, heavy enough to wear on its own and easy enough to layer under a jacket or coat when the temperature drops further. Where much of the collection speaks to the outdoors through cloth and cut, this jumper speaks to it through texture alone.
